在英國，有一所大學的四名研究生，在心理學教授的指導下，從事一個「小型實驗」——四名男生找了一個面貌平庸、而且從來「沒有和男生約會過」的大學女生，輪流地約她出去。

In Britain, there are four graduate students of a university, under the guidance of psychology professor, engaged in a [small-scale experiment]----Four boys have looked for a appearance mediocrity, and [not date with the boy] university girl, invite her to go out in turn.

但是，這個實驗的一個原則是，四名男生在約會中，必須不斷地「稱讚」這名女生，說她人很漂亮、很善良、笑容可掬、穿著很有品味、很有人緣、很聰明……等等。三個月過後，這個實驗有了結果當這四名男生再去約該女生時，發現原本「從未約會」的她，現在的約會檔期，已經排得滿滿的了！

But one the this pieces of experiment one principle, there are in not dating on four boy, must the girl constantly [praise] , say her is very beautiful, very kindhearted, radiant with smiles and wearing and having good taste, very popular, very clever…etc, Three months later, this experiment had the result, When these four boys went to invite this girl again, found originally  [never dated] her, present appointment working days, already [filled to the limit]!

 

人都需要、也喜歡被他人「稱讚」、「肯定」，久而久之，雙方才會有良好的互動關係！就像嬌嫩的玫瑰花，需要「澆水、施肥」，才能看到「美麗嬌艷」的花朵；假如我們平常不予澆水施肥、不予關心照顧，如何能欣賞到漂亮芬芳的玫瑰花？

People need and like being praise by others, [definite], as time passes, one pair of sides will just have a good inter dynamic relation! 有一位董事長，生性嚴肅、不苟言笑，每天下班回家，就是吃飯，少與妻兒溝通交談。

一天，他太太做了一道清蒸板鴨，董事長在吃鴨肉時說：「奇怪，為什麼這隻鴨子只有一條腿？」太太回答說：「咱們家裡養的鴨子都只有一條腿啊！」

One day, his wife cooked a steamed pressed sated duck, the Chairman said while eating duck's meat: [strange, why does this duck have a leg only?] Madam answers: [duck which our family raises only one leg!]

「亂講天下所有的鴨子都是兩條腿，怎麼我們家的鴨子會是一條腿？」先生不悅地說。
「不信的話，你到我們家的池塘去看就知道了！」太太說。

[Say arbitrarily all ducks are two legs all over the world, how will duck of our family be a leg?] The gentleman says unhappily. [Not believed, you tell just by looking at it to the pond of our home!] Madam says.

先生到池塘一看，鴨子果真都只有一條腿；因為鴨子在休息，另一條腿只是收起來而已。
先生馬上很聰明地「啪！啪！啪！」拍掌三聲！
鴨子一聽，立刻兩腿一伸，趕快划水游走了！

The gentleman saw suddenly to the pond, the duck really had only a leg ; Because the duck is having a rest, another leg is being just put away. The gentleman will be very clever at once [pa! Pa! Pa! ] Clap one's hands three times! Duck listen to, two legs stretch at once, strike move  away quickly!

「你看，我們家養的鴨，不都是兩條腿嗎？」先生說。
「是啊！那是因為有你的『掌聲』，鴨子才會有兩條腿啊！」

太太對先生說：「你如果每天都給我『掌聲』，我也會做兩條腿的鴨子給你吃啊！」

[you look, the duck which we raised at home is not all two legs?] The gentleman says.

[That because have your "applause ", the duck will have two legs!]

Madam says to the gentleman: [If you give me " applause " every day, the duck that I will make  two legs is eaten by you!]

西洋人說：「讚美是所有聲音中，最甜蜜的一種。」的確古今中外，哪個人不希望別人對自己多些「讚美」和「肯定」？每一句讚美和鼓勵，都是一股熱力，鼓舞著人們「加速向前邁進」！

Westerners say: [Praise it is in all sounds, happiest one.] Indeed, at all times and in all lands, which person hope others to oneself more a bit [praise ] and [definite ]?
